* September 2006 – KiwiSaver Act passed
* January 2007 – Letters will be sent to employers with information on the KiwiSaver initiative
* May 2007 – Employers will receive starter kits, and KiwiSaver information packs for new employees
* July 2007 – KiwiSaver begins
